Cosmaé is an innovative brand of natural cosmetics that promotes self-care. Customers can use pure and healthy ingredients to make their own cosmetics using recipes provided on the website. Notchup agency contacted us to handle the web aspect of this new brand launch, with the exception of the logo. Together with Virginie, we imagined a minimalist, immersive e-commerce website that promotes a strong editorial proximity. Our goal was to best reflect the essence of the brand: pure and natural raw materials, without any artifice, in an eco-responsible and transparent approach. The tone had to be engaging, encouraging self-care, health and the environment, while being close and playful. Virginie particularly worked on the art direction, imagining a color scheme representing the different skin tones, as well as a unique and offbeat iconography that moves away from the stereotypes of cosmetics image to be closer to the user's reality. On my side, I put all my expertise in the UI part of the site to ensure that each interface element is clear and easy to understand for the user, and I made sure that the user journey is as smooth as possible.
